Attempts to stop the decline in tennis, 30% plus over the last decade or so, have seen Compact tennis, Short tennis, Junior tennis and a host of other efforts, each using ‘special’ balls.
Needless to say, these made no impact , and other brands, by continuing to sell non conforming products, are not helping the LTA’s determined efforts to stop the decline.
Making balls for 70 years, we decided to back the LTA in their efforts to introduce well researched ideas for coaching, which is bedeviled with ‘odd’ balls, left over from the earlier attempts. .
SO.... developed for the LTA, our Red 75, now the International standard, with our Orange and Green stage balls, comprise the only matched balls for teaching mini tennis. The uniform progression of weight, bounce, response time and compression (stiffness) promote structured and progressive learning across the three stages of mini tennis.
